V 1200 allows for the great thickness (up to 2 inches), followed by K 15 (up to 1.5 inches), and K10 (up to 1 inch).
Healing Time:

Polishable Toppings
All three products—K 520™, K 521™, and K 523™—give great results and create a smooth, self-leveled finish when used with the right primer. Depending on the surface, you can use different primers.
- For polishing, ARDEX EP 2000™ with sand is frequently used.
- For absorbent surfaces, use ARDEX P 51™.
We install these materials neatly from 3/8 inch (9.5 mm) to 2 inches (5 cm). They can extend up to 3 inches (7.5 cm) with aggregate. This provides strong self-leveling abilities to fix bad slab conditions.
When deciding between K 520™, K 521™, and K 523™, the choice ultimately depends on the desired aggregate appearance:
- K 520™: A smooth, uniform finish without visible aggregate.
- K 521™: Incorporates white aggregate, offering a refined, decorative look.
- K 523™: Features both black and white aggregate, creating a terrazzo-like aesthetic.

ARDEX SD-T® and SD-P® Systems
ARDEX SD-T®
ARDEX SD-T® is a self-drying and self-leveling topping. It is made from Portland cement and does not need troweling. This product is great for quickly resurfacing, smoothing, or leveling indoor concrete and some non-porous surfaces.
This topping can be installed from 1/4 inch (6 mm) up to 2 inches (5 cm) neat, and up to 5 inches (12.7 cm) with aggregate. It creates a durable, flat, and smooth finish suitable for light industrial, commercial, and residential applications.
ARDEX SD-T® comes in gray or white. It can be walked on and sealed in just 2 hours. This helps projects finish quickly.

ARDEX SD-P®
ARDEX SD-P® is a self-drying patching and smoothing compound. It is made from Portland cement. This product is easy to trowel. It is designed for ramping and patching large areas.
We install it neat up to 1 inch (2.5 cm) or extend it with aggregate up to 3 inches (7.5 cm) for thicker applications. ARDEX SD-P® can be applied directly to concrete without a primer. Perfect for heavy-duty repairs and busy areas, like forklift paths.

ARDEX SD-P® RAPID
ARDEX SD-P® RAPID improves on the reliable SD-P®. It sets faster, making it great for projects with tight deadlines. Installed in as little as 60 minutes, providing rapid turnaround without compromising durability.

Ardex Feather Finish
Even without mechanical preparation, you can trowel ARDEX FEATHER FINISH® into defects such as holes, joints, or cracks. Extra material can be wiped away easily. This leaves a clean and neat surface. It blends well with the surrounding concrete.
Additional benefits include resistance to mold and mildew helping repairs last longer. The quick drying time enables installers to complete floor covering installations in just 15 minutes, ensuring projects finish efficiently.
For optimal results, following the manufacturer’s guidelines on substrate preparation and mixing ratios is essential to achieving the desired finish and durability.
